Leila Sibai is a researcher and legal practitioner currently working as a legal investigator in collaboration with Huquqyat, with whom she supports the development of case-files pertaining to war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Syria. Leila has an MA in International Law, an MA in Research Architecture and is currently pursuing a PhD at the CRA. Her research looks into performative and linguistic practices which enable an embodied understanding of lived experiences of political violence as a means of knowledge production.
