Riccardo Badano is an architect and researcher living and working in London. His work investigates the hostile environments of the European Alps in relationship to cross-border migration. His work investigates the intersections of environmental issues and border circulations, with a particular focus on the Alpine boundaries. As an embedded researcher at Het Nieuwe Instituut he collaborated with Studio Formafantasma and Serpentine Galleries to produce the “Cambio” exhibition for which he also edited the exhibition catalogue (Walther König, 2020). He is currently a PhD candidate at the Centre for Research Architecture.
